It's amazing how you write something at one time in your life thinking it will be there to help someone else and in the end it turns out it's exactly what you need to hear and it's perfect timing. I wrote the above paragraph to myself last summer and at the end of this last cheer season my coach gave them back to us to read at the time it didn't mean much to me and i just left it in a corner of my room ultimately waiting to be thrown away. Luckily i didn't because the other day i received some new that seemed all to familiar for me. My elbow was hurting as bad as it ever had and it had only really been two weeks of cheer not even that so to the doctor i went the new i received felt all to similar. If i wanting to be able to live my daily life pain free and the rest of my life as normal as possible cheer would have to stop. at first i was in denial i didn't think that i would have to quit gymnastics the first time and i didn't think i would ever have to go through the heart ache of again having to stop something that i loved again. But it happened again and today i had to tell my team and coaches that i was done. It was hard i cried a lot and i'm still unsure about everything but i know that there is something better i'm suppose to be doing with my life next year. it doesn't take the pain away but it is reassuring to know everything turned out good the first time and the second time can only be better!
So to all of those struggling with something right now i know there's not really anything anyone can say to make the heart ache stop but i would like to say it's happening for a reason so look for the door(s) opening because a door never closes without another one opening. we just need to look around.
